I, unfortunately have none and no orientation in British political life neither, so I can't verify your suggestions, but maybe someone could try to guess? Back to top

This was in the 1980's, so his political opinions could of course have changed since then. However, he does not seem like a stereotype British Conservative to me. If I should guess, I would say that he would vote Labour, if he votes at all. Back to top

Korgscrew Group: Super Admins Posts: 3511 Joined: Dec. 1999 Posted: May 06 2005, 06:16 I know that at one time he had a letter from Tony Blair on his wall (quite likely still does), thanking Mike for sending some copies of his albums (Tony Blair is apparently quite a big fan of Tubular Bells). Considering that Mike went into tax exile in Switzerland during the 80s, I can't imagine he liked the Conservative government of the time that much! I do vaguely remember him saying something in praise of Margaret Thatcher, which I suspect is the same thing which Woodlander saw, but I don't remember exactly what it said. I think it may well have also been accompanied by him saying he didn't have much of an interest in politics. Back to top
