Watcher of the skies Group: Members Posts: 67 Joined: Oct. 2003 Posted: Nov. 16 2003, 04:29 are there any fans here of the band called Porcupine tree? their music is so spiritual,moving and sometimes close to perfection although it can bite (heavy riffs on "In absentia" album)...Steven Wilson is great composer and guitarist - sometimes he even sounds like mike... anyway i really love Porcupine Tree almost as much as MO music (but still MO is number 1) -------------- Hillmen are swore of allegiance living a live of silent dignity for your protection only so you don't worry... your pretty little head! I remember I quite liked it, though I can't remember much of it now. Maybe it's time to get back to them. It didn't remind me of Mike, though (or I'd have remembered it better   ). Back to top

James I remember now - 'Lips of Ashes' from 'In absentia' has a guitar solo that sounds like it could have been lifted straight from Tubular Bells II - it sounds really similar to one part of the first half of the piece (forget which bit!
