I've just read there have been some parts of 'Amarok' that came out of old demos that were previous to 'Tubular Bells'. Could that be true?? Anybody knows about it??

Would be interesting to know. Thanks.

They were released on a bonus CD of Sallyangie 2002 re-issue edition. The tracks are called "Mrs Moon And The Thatched Shop" and "Branches".

Those two tracks aren't on youtube, but quite a few are, including this:

also, on Tubular Bells Digital Box Set (2009) there are "peace demo A/B" from 1971 with parts from Amarok already there. It is on Spotify for those who have that.

Wow!!! Thanks for that!!!!

It's really amazing that when you hear that, you can already think of the destiny these melodies had... what a glorious one!!!

That brings a lot to encouragement to my musicianship alredy. I haven't got to get recognized yet, but sure many melodies that will be are made already...

It's very curious as well that Mike gave this melodie featured in Amarok a treatment very much like another part of 'Tubular Bells', the 'Blues' one.

Thanks once again, it was a great sharing.
