I put another link to a new music file:

Preludium Partita For Violin Solo n. 3 (J. S. Bach) (ZX Spectrum Files)

Completely arranged using Native Instruments softsynths and recorded entirely on a PC board using Nero Wave Editor 2.0. It sounds quite nice, really!

Hiya, fianlly downloaded it, forgive my ingnorance with classical music, but it kinda reminded me of Toccata :-)  very good you must have put a lot of work into that.  I like the way it slows down and speeds up, you obviously have done that in midi or have you :-)  My brother had difficulties with slowing down and speeding up in his Qbase VST.  He can't work out how to do it.

Its amazing the talent on this forum, its enough to get Mike Oldfield sweating...... he he

Finally got to hear it.
Its beautiful. Im not to fond of sound of synths in general, I usually use them as a decoration and not as a lead instrument. The thing about Bach's notes, I think they are so powerfull that they can get to you using any sound, even a nokia cellphones.
It alos sounds you've put alot of effort editing the sound and rythem and it gives the track a human touch :)
Good work.

:)

Thanks for your encouragement! I was afraid because synth sound wasn't proper for a classical piece like this, but some other composers and performers did in the past (Walter Carlos or Tomita for example).

Well indeed this particular track is taken from my production "The Dreaming Earth", full of classical arrangements using softsynths from Arturia and Native Instruments. Authors are very well known: Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Satie, Ginastera, Scarlatti and even Weber/Rice. I took their Jesuschrist Superstar "Gethsemanie" to a higher scale.

I'm very keen with synthesizers and undoubtly I can invest in a better production. Unfortunately I would like any guitar (acoustic or electric) added to my own work, however I don't play it (unless I could)  ;)

I have in front several projects and some complete recordings sets made. If anyone feels interested, I welcome your messages.

In reply to other fans, I've copied the score of this particular Bach piece using Melody Assistant program, accompanied with its counterpiece Harmony Assistant, create the MIDI file and send the code to some softsynths which can play it throughout in my computer and mix the result with... Nero Wave Editor 2 plus Audacity 1.2.0.

With simple things also beautiful music can be made. Of course, I hope to do my best next time.
