Hi,

I've just uploaded a new Purple Rhapsody track to my ReverbNation page

http://www.reverbnation.com/purplerhapsody

The track is called Purple Sky (should be third in the player) and was finished this afternoon. It's quite simple and quite melancholy but hopefully you won't all slit your wrists listening to it.

Apologies for being quiet on here recently - I've got various family matters taking up alot of my time leaving less time for music than I'd like but it's still one of my main passions so I won't ever stop!

As regards ReverbNation - I had a quick look for some of you on there but didn't find you so if you're on there and would like an extra fan just send me a message and I'll add you!

Cheers,
Terry.

;) Nice melodies ! Imho you should change the sound of the first guit . I prefer the sound of the second at the end . But it's a nice track anyway ! Piano playing is really nice with a lot of emotions !

Not bad at all, Terry.

First time I've seen reverbNation, been used to finding your work at mySpace. And as a civilian non-musician I guess I don't hunt for these sites.

Any-hoo, first comment is "too short". just getting into the vibe and melody and it ends.  :(  a little bit Voyager with the guitar sound, but I wont hold that against you. Clear and precise production, and I agree with T T that the second guitar has more legs.

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?

Re: ReverbNation... - I like it because it allows me to put ALL my tracks in one place, has facilities for getting my albums on iTunes and eMusic, and has good mailing list and artist utility pages.

Re: Purple Sky...
I deliberately wanted a contrast between the first guitar passage (plucked/short notes), the second guitar passage (same as the first but with an added lower octave), and the third guitar passage (the one with the 'legs' ;) ). However, I may have gone too far with the contrast.

Thanks for listening, it's appreciated.

Cheers,
Terry.
