bee Group: Members Posts: 1227 Joined: Jan. 2004 Posted: April 08 2004, 18:34 Does anyone remember Mike doing a half hour or one hour radio show on something like Radio Luxembourg or 208 around about '79? I know it was very late one evening because I was quite young and should really have been asleep!! But he played current popular tracks and I do remember him playing Herbie Hancock for some reason. I think he was talking about the use of a vocoder ( is that right? the thing that makes your voice go strange). I can also remember how upbeat he sounded as if he was enjoying being a DJ. It was roughly when Guilty was released and that was near to Incantations if my memory is working! He was on Tiswas (as I have read here somewhere) and also there were other interviews. I'm sure he did an interview for the NME about the time of the Exposed Tour. I have probably got it neatly folded amongst a pile of paper!! -------------- ....second to the right and straight on till morning....
