Hi

I have started to play around with my title track to my album and finally (after a few days tearing my hair out, for a bald man that's not funny!;) worked out how to get Vocaloid into Sonar.

So for those of you who like this track (Nightspore quite likes it) here's the new version but with still a few flourishes to come.. The vocals kick in at 3:31 if you want to hear Vocaloid Prima in action....

RITD with Vocaloid

Thanks for listening as always.... QM

Hi QM,

Yes, and I like it more every time I hear it. I always imagine someone taking a happy walk through very beautiful surroundings.

I thought you said I wouldn't want to hear works in progress, though

I'm not sure whether I prefer the Vocaloid or the non-Vocaloid version...

did I? well I suppose I'm like my 11 month old puppy with a new squeaky toy on this one!

It needs some refining but I think the vocals could be quite good... I've heard some Vocaloid examples and its awful... Prima is a classical singer

It was in the context of the Limpet song discussion.  :)

The VOCALOID experience is going goodl!  - there's a choir and a female voice in there now. I can't remember how it sounded without it.

Hi Martin,

I prefer the version with vocaloid - I've commented on Soundcloud, the only problem I think is that the synth you've got going up and down conflicts with it a bit (although IMHO the synth is a bit too loud and harsh for a track with this ambience anyway - but if we all liked the same things the world would be boring!;).

Cheers,
Terry.

Thanks Terry

I'm actually working on the piece again now and that synths levels have gone down and I might even change it!

I've vastly improved RITD now. New ending, Vocaloid in harmony, new melodies etc... this is it!! Micheal Jackson said that then was dead 2 months later!!
