hey guys, i heard that mike used mainly a MAC to record his latest album... does he play his guitar straight into  the mac and mess with the sound on a music programme? or does he use amps?

also, what programmes does he use? thanks guys

Yes he also has been using fruity loops too. Im sure he's migrated, or should have migrated to OS X Tiger, although i did read somehwere that he combines both Macs and PCs.

I must admit I use a combination of Apple Logic Pro, ProTools and Garage Band. Garage Band is quite excellent to musically 'sketch' in but you'll need one of the other two as they have much greater sophistication and flexibilty when it comes to editing and mixing. I have found myself wondering if MO has got into Garage Band. Its really an excellently fun user-friendly program.
