Actually, on finishing it, I noticed that there's better music in the background than in the front. Maybe I'll have better luck next time...

I think this one's really good! Strange you haven't gotten any replies. Your composition is very competent indeed, and I really like some of the transitions between parts. 3:58 is great! Thanks for sharing -- and I do hope someone else comments on your tune. It's far to good for oblivion.

Your song was really great!  I liked it so much that I had to register on this discussion forum just to post a note on how well I loved it.  I loved the different stories it seemed to tell.  I thought you did an excellent job with the beginning and again at the ending.  Job well done!  You have a right to be proud of this one.
