Hi

I have the remastered series of CD's and noticed today that the front cover artwork for Crises only has the moon - not the building, sea, or the man. Are they all like this?

Also, the Islands CD has the wrong spine, so the Tubular Bell across all the spines does not line up. Again, is this the case for all.

In both these cases, have they been re-issued correctly?

Hello!

My copy of "Crises" has the correct front-cover. However the track "Foreign Affair" is missing on the back-cover.

There are a few mistakes on the remastered HDCD version. You can read more about them here:

May I ask where you got your version of "Crises", I have never seen or heard of this version?

Interesting - we had someone else with a similar copy of Crises here. I've only seen them with the usual front covers, but perhaps a batch was made with the covers put together the wrong way round.

The wrong spine image on Islands is quite well known (and often complained about!) though. As far as I know, that hasn't been corrected in the meantime.

It's definitely not printed the wrong way round, as it has the artist and album title (MIKE OLDFIELD, CRISES) in the top-left-hand corner.

So you can get them printed correctly then?

On the back cover of Platinum is mistake in the word Platinum. This is listed as PLATIMUM. The back cover of QE2 has also the mistake in printing - it says that was printed in 1973 and copyrighted in 2000.
