I see Branson on the news regularly here in the USA, on average once a month with some space endeavor.....
I figured him to be one of the top 10 richest men in the world. I was wrong. He ranks #212. He owns so much, MO tie-in, due to TB1. I like him, very charismatic gentleman. I enjoy his interviews. I just thought he was worth a heck of a lot more. And all of this started with (As far as I know) MO TB1 being the first release on his record company in 1973. Are they still freinds? Do they go trick or treating together on halloween? Did they watch Avatar together(with 3D glasses on)? Do they swap MP3 files and photos via email? Do they swap Christmas cards? Are they Facebook friends? Mafia wars buddies? Yoville buddies? These are the things that cause the inquisitive mind to ponder......see this:

According to the last interviews I remember reading, they're ok with each other, but not buddy-buddies -- that means no Avatar with 3D glasses on, :/ .

(I hate that film)

I think Avatar was worth seeing one time(just to see why all the excitement). Beyond that, ok I enjoyed it.....bye bye. The soundtrack(James Horner)....same as Titanic or Aliens. Horner's best was Star Trek 2. Fine music. His style is so repetitive.....but noteworthy. A class act. I just happen to love the music from Star Trek 2(not 3, recycled)....it was so melodic and original. Avatar made more money than it was worth. But.....let's not banty about that ....A 60 YO Sigourney Weaver....Not bad at all. I wish I looked that good at 40. I remember talking about her in the 80's. References were made to here being "boney". My reply was: "Yeah, but her bones are in all the right places!" You go Sigourney! Movie goers need to focus on the important things, like Her.

I've always admired RB's entrepreneurial romps, he was in the paper today attempting the English channel kite-boarding but had to turn back due to bad weather, what a guy!

Star Trek II comes in second for me as far as James H goes.

The Name of the Rose is his best work imo.

It sets the tone and carries an otherwise bleak movie, making it an emotional journey that stuck with me long after the credits rolled.
The end tittle sequence being the best track .

My favourite one is Apollo 13. And I remember that I was haunted by the theme of Legends of the Fall for a long time although the movie itself has never been my cup of tea.

Brannie rode Apollo until Mike made Tubular Bells Orchestral in 1997, then they started argueing for the rights and then came 'Music from the Balcony' and the Virgin mobile phone was a revenge about it.

Brannie took a camp in the field and started raisin up the big airplane company, and then Mike Oldfield said it in the news and they sang 'Crystal Gaizing' in a jointery party, until Reachie Brannie took a cap, had a laugh, wrote a graph and made a scarf.

There was a few stories how they would play practical jokes on each other when they were freinds .

One joke was , one evening when Mike was out of his house Richard had a removal lorry come round and empty his entire house. The next day they put it all back .

Excese of the 1970s when they had money to burn !
