He's one of the kings of pure pop. As pure pop is one of the many music genres I like, I can say I like Mr. Willams' music. :) Plus, he's got a very good voice IMHO.

It took me quite a bit of time until I stopped associating him with Take That, but I have to admit his stuff is good pop music. I've heard the latest album once and thought it wasn't too shabby.

I took me a long time before i liked him. I must problamy thanks my mom for that, because she's a huge fan.
Well she have always liked him but i dont. I was not sure if his voice was like he show us (live and concerts) But it looks like it is real and he have a good voice.
Most of all, hes a show man. I wonder where those big stars gets the energi from, like Robbie and Madonna.
Good worked and never breaks..

amazing...

Kareoke singer and no more, I don't think the boy has an original bone in his body, everything he does sound's like it has been out before very clever indeed.
Infact I think his next single is going to be called 'This is one small step for mankind'.

Yep, good voice, suprisingly difficult to sing some of his stuff (well, not like Bono level but more difficult than average anyways) and he composes well - if he composes it.  :/   :)

Everyone's interpretation is different, and everyone has a right to that opinion. There is no "right" one, I am adding this post to communicate my thoughts to share them with like-minded souls who will be able to comment in good nature.

Hmm..I have to admit to owning every album. He is probably the biggest "Showman" the Uk has produced, even beating the likes of Tom Jones (who he seems to hero worship).

Not a great voice, but very lucky to have had a great songwriter to take him on board.

For a lucky fat bloke, I'd take a tenth of his earnings thank you.

I bought the single 'Back for Good' by Take That so I have known about him for a long time and I have never heard anything of his and thought that's shit, but nothing that has grabbed my attention either, but to be honest he does not get airplay on the radio station that I listen to so I get very little exposure to him. He always struck me as extremely arrogant and I didn't like him but I saw him in an interview quite recently and found him quite funny.

Who ever said anything about comparing him to Mike? I think Mike would fail as miserably if he was to take Robbie's place as vice versa.

I also don't understand how Robbie Williams can be compared to M.O,for the same reasons as Holger states here.
My own personal opinion of this artist - the guy has charisma,it can't be bought, learned,or earned it's either there or it isn't.
But of course,he wouldn't last in the business for long on this alone. Some of his material IMO is very, very good  & especially  a few of his emotional songs "Angels "for one, has such beautiful lyrics, and now at this point becoming really angry with myself   :( because I can hear more words & music in my mind, but fail to remember their titles :p  do think he's deserving of his status in the music world though :)
