Roger Waters names new album. In a recent interview with Jim Ladd, Roger Waters said his new rock and roll album would be released in 2006 and it had a working title of 'Heartland, in reference to the indigenous people of America. In another interview with Steve Matteo Roger said, "It’s there. I’ve written that album so many times and I’ve recorded it so many times I just haven’t managed to spit the thing out,” when asked about a new album. We have been told Roger Waters has every intention of touring the new album in both N. America and Europe in 2006  :D

As with the new Mike Oldfield album, i want to wait untill i have the album in my hand to hear it, i want to hear it in full, and with the best quality.
Roger has said he has written a lot of songs for the new album, and seeing as his last one came out in 1992, then he has had a lot of time to write a lot of songs, i'm looking forward to it a lot.

Roger Waters is absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to his new album as well! If you haven't heard his Amused to Death album, maybe you should have a listen :)  It's genius! There will also be a new David Gilmour album out next year! Then it's time to reunite Floyd I think!!

Gilmour has been working on his solo album for years, Rick Wright plays on it too, he has written enough for a double album.

I'm sorry, haven't got a link! Just read about it in Q or NME or something :)  That Richard Wright will be on the new Gilmour album is what I'd read too, so that's great.   :D If you heard them sing at Live8, then a virtual vocalist would be a bad idea, because, unlike some parts of his DVD, Davids' voice was superb again! By the way, have you heard the Rick Wright album Broken China? In the same league as Distant Earth (very high league that is ;) )?

I don't think Broken China is as good as SODE, but i do like it, and i think Rick should do another album too.

well maybe I was a little too enthousiastic there  ;) but it's certainly one of my favourites! :D  In interviews he said he was busy with a new one, but, like like the other Floyds, he's been saying that for years!!!  :p  Luckily Mike works a little faster!  ;) Division Bell is my Floyd favourite! What's yours?
