In 1980 I bought an LP by Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays called "As falls Witchita so falls Wichita Falls". I liked the album a lot, but there was one song that I kept playing a lot, "September 15th". Then over the years I noticed that date coincided with several things that happened to me, 2 very significant ones having to do with women. Others having to do with jobs, etc. The first was 1984 when I met a woman on Sept. 15, not long-lived, only 2-3 months but never forgotten. By around 1990 I noticed a pattern and started listening to the song "September 15th" every Sept. 15th. Then on 9-15-95 I met a woman I'm with to the present day. I still continue to listen to the song every Sept. 15th, usually alone. I think the studio version is the best, but the live version is good too and the only one available at the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMeupy01c9Q Jim
