Hope this is not off topic, but I does anyone know of singing synth software? I thought there was something on here about it, but I cannot find it now.

You can download shareware versions of their software and have a try.

"Virtual Singer" is the singing synthesis plug-in for their music software.

It's far from the Vocaloid's quality however.
