With "Snakes on a Plane" movie hype reaching a venom-induced fever pitch, can any of the great artists out there come up with "Snakes" themed "Five Miles Out" graphics?

I could hardly make it through the trailers at http://www.snakesonaplane.com. And here I thought it was about "snakes" as in not very nice people. <-; I'd not want to be Five Meters Out.....when there are (loose) snakes on a plane.  :/

(p.s. If someone doesn't come up with something soon, will probably have to move the topic to the GD.)

What's the GD?

If you want some amusement, do a google search on "snapes on a plane".

I guess it's the General Discussion forum. :)
The 'snapes' thing is nice, but maybe it could've done better...

Mmm...sorry...Ugo's right--the General Discussion.

Hiawatha--I googled it--that's how I found the trailers and other things and how I actually wove it all into a bad Serpent Dream last night. Thank the gods that I can't remember it. OH---Duh'oh. This is what happens when you can't find your glasses. SNAPES--as in the professor. Ah....now, I wouldn't miind at all being on a plane with Snapes, hahahahaha! Yes--some pretty funny stuff!

If Snakes on a Plane isn't bad enough, my daughter, Chelsey, was watching a National Geographic program about the python that burst after eating an alligator. I could hardly be in the same house while that program aired. Found I had to air, too (as in flee).

<zooming the topic to the GD, thinking it can always be moved and merged if necessary...>

Hmmm.....the snakes or the snapes? Prof. Snape is the dude in Harry Potter, played by Alan Rickman of TBII MC fame. Some folks have made a parody of Snakes on a Plane, for example....

I had this horrid thought of a snake emerging from the end of the tubular bell....followed by a tubular bell in the shape of a snape. No...snake. No...a snake in the shape of a tubular bell. Hideous, IMHO.   :O  :O  :O

Do you have much success with this pick-up line?

Oh dear, I was just kidding but I didn't realise what I just said until now! But then, what other scenario could make Mikey agitated with him and a planeful of snakes? :p

Why, of course, the scene where Mike barely escapes with his life from trying to take the Maya Gold. He gets into the seaplane, and finds it is full of snakes. He says "I hate snakes!".

Is it me that's weird? I'm online at least an hour a day and I haven't heard of "Snakes on a Plain" until I read about it in the paper, where I'm told about how hyped it is on the internet.
Excatly where on the internet should I be to catch a glimpse of the hype?

Try this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22snakes+on+a+plane%22

There's only 58 million hits on Google.

Don't worry. I try and steer clear of any internet hype too. However, I heard about Snakes on a Plane back in March through my rather nerdy housemates.

For the trailers as well as the video, check out http://www.snakesonaplane.com.

I was living a very happy life...snakeless, planeless....but that's all changed...now that there are snakes on a plane. Quick...drop the temperature!!!

BTW....are the folks that smuggle the snakes on a plane actually on the plane? But you know, seems to me that at some point in the movie, "Serpent Dream" would have actually worked.

"Snakes on a Great Plane" would surely put me into some sort of altered state. I'd find the sunset door and jump out, and hopefully float weightless to the ground.

"The Source Of Secrets" had been luggage, and "The Watchful Eye" of security was distracted by "Jewell(s) in the Crown" while "Outcasts" carrying your worst "Serpent Dream" placed them next to "The Inner Child" and a "Man in the Plane" at "The Top Of The Morning" while the "Moonwatched" as "Secrets" unfolded......"Far Above the Clouds"......and nothing was ever heard from them again ....except the sound of...... screaming...and Samuel L. Jackson swearing ....because..........there.......were........ SNAKES ON A PLANE!!!! Mwwaaaaahhhaaaaaa

Well.....I'm off to probably a night full of .....serpent dreams.  :O  :O  :O
