Hi there,

long time no read, sorry!

Meanwhile, I think, I kind of "conquered" my new home. And, to tease Your curiosity, have completed my newest work "SOJOURN II".

Again, I would describe it as "landscapes set to music".

It features an unknown female singer, Imke Hollemann (I use to call her "my little elf, but she doesn't know by now).

It is the first time, I dared to work with and implement a female voice. I liked it very much 'though.

So, for Your pleasure and relaxation, the link:

I am, as You might have expected, looking for Your comments in advance.

'Til recently,
Klaus

I listened to the first 5 minutes and liked it. Planning to sit down with a chunk of time to spare to listen to the whole thing later.

Cheers,
Terry.

Hi Terry,

thanx a lot for your immediate and so far positive reply.
You (as a genuine musician and therefore of course a nice dreamer) know well, how important such motivating "echoes" are for somebody who walks on rarely used paths.

I hope, you will get a few contemplating moments for listening to the whole thing.

Again and again, thank you for your backing!

Cheers also and perhaps 'til recently,
Klaus

Hello Klaus,

Your stuff is really interesting, it sounds a lot like Mike Oldfield's music. I listened to your track Sojourn II and i really liked it. Around 13:00 it sounds a lot like Ommadawn part 2. Now I'm listening to Sojourn I and i like it also.

Is it possible to download these tracks as mp3 files so that i could listen to them without internet connection?

Hi ...,
thank You very much for Your positive assessment. I must confess, that it makes me slightly proud, although it has never been my aim, to "copy" Mikes music or be a kind of "sticker" of him.
I just try to express my "inner views" and dreams of a (how german Poet Heinrich Heine once mentioned) "new and better world" we should aim at and work for.

I would describe my compositions as "walks through landscapes set to music". And the ways, instrumentations and the techniques Mike used as well as the athmospheres he created once and, thank God, continues nowadays, are the most and ultimately suitable I ever got to know 'till now.

But now over to Your question. I am afraid, I do not know, how to download the tracks from my MySpace "corner".
If You like to get them, it will be unavoidable for You to tell me Your email-addy, so that I could send a copy (mp3) directly to Your account. It's up to Your decision.
Sorry, but I can't help, although.

Anyway, thank You again for Your encouraging statements, excuse my "stumbling" English and - perhaps - "'till recently",

Yours Klaus

Hi Mike,
thank You very much for Your pleasant raection.

I would like to give You an answer to Your question, but what exactly do You want to know? Do You mean kits, concerning the recording (like computers, programs or tape recorders) or amplifiers, microphones and effect pads or even the "collection" and brands of the instruments, I use?

It would be helpful for me to give You a proper answer if You could make Your question more precise.

So, in anticipation for Your questions and (hopefully) 'till recently

Yours Klaus

Please excuse my terrible English (I try my very best, but school's over for years and I am not that experienced yet,,,)
