The way it's constructed, though, makes me feel like I'm listening to several short songs instead of one unified piece - not a criticism, mind, just an observation - and maybe that was your intention. It wasn't necessarily what I was aiming for, but it wasn't a surprise that it came out like that; I was recording it as I wrote it. The bit with the synth feels quite separate to me.
