This is an oldie but a goodie.
From a band I was in a few years ago.
10 points if anyone can guess what classic iconic song this shares the exact same chords with.
The guitarist found it hard not to slip into the same solo.

I was thinking Hotel California, but I decided that was wrong.
Oh well...

Anyway, great song. I really enjoyed it.

Thanks Matt and Wendy.

Yep thats me Wiga- at the time I was using 8 pieces of dowel stuck together instead of regular drum sticks made an interesting sound, the band lasted five years had regular work around Melbourne a management deal and were on the verge ,
but then in true Commitments style it all fell apart through in fighting and band politics .
We recorded 2 albums and mostly co-wrote together and Two lead singers.
Here is another with the other singer.

Milamber: any chance you could put these on youtube instead?
Wiga: you've changed your signature, but it's unattributed. I must admit I was fond of your WC Fields one.

Milamber; wow, your band had a very unique sound, and I like the Chris Isaak guitar. It's a shame you guys disbanded -  as you're all obviously VERY talented and had great chemistry - you can hear it.

Nightspore; "The most important thing in life is showing up" is a tag line in the film Hardball. Keanu Reeves reluctantly coaches baseball to troubled kids but in the ends connects with them. :)

Wiga: Unfortunately, to many people the quotation would be amended to "The most important thing in life is showing off"!

Milamber: I'm still not getting any video with these clips. Nevertheless, I've listened to your pieces and there's absolutely no reason why they, rather than other material, shouldn't have been radio smashes! The public is a fickle animal, and I'd hate to be the one to try to tame it!

Your drumming on "Too Hard for Too Long" reminds me of that on the Joy Division song on Closer that contains the line "Just for one moment I thought I'd found my way". I can't remember which one that was. But I'm no expert on drumming, and my comment is probably totally wrong!

I just tried the video to see if I came across the same problem and yeah, I'm getting the message "The video that you have requested is not available."  :/

Nice stuff,

the singing is good. It's almost like a pro recording except for some parts where she sings a bit offkey (especially when she sings 'sometimes';). It does sound on purpose though? Like it sort of fits the whole atmosphere.

Nice guitar playing as well :D

Yes, if there is a weak spot, it's the female singer, who doesn't quite mesh with the rest of the musicians.
