Most tracks on the Stones' Let it Bleed. The title track, Live with Me and a few others always struck me as extremely uninteresting and dull, and I HATE HATE HATE You Can't Always Get What You Want.

And the Beatles' Good Day Sunshine, which to this day I still find abhorrent, depressing and utterly, terrifyingly ugly.

Yes, and "Jumping jack Flash" too. Actually, it would be easier to list the Stones songs I do like: "Paint it Black" (has anyone noticed the melody is like part of Bach's "Toccata and Fugue"?), "Lady Jane", "She's a Rainbow", "Out of Time".

Among other popular songs I hate: Mr Bojangles.  :(  :(  :(

And Elton John's "Benny and the Jets".

I'll try to keep this more "on topic"...

This piece has been described to me (also here) as a mini-Amarok, varied, invetive, quirky. I don't see any of these in it. It's always been completely and utterly pointless to me - just some mucking around, totally devoid of any musical substance. I always stop the Heaven's Open CD before it starts. Much like Jarre's Waiting for Cousteau, in fact. :D

Ah, and of course I can't stand this, although I srangely like the similar stuff that Lennon created after it...

You have to apologise for posting this even in a thread for songs you hate.

Maybe The Last Chance Band should do a parody version??

Don't touch my part, My achy breaky part... it might just go off in your hands

The last 80 seconds of 'Amarok' are one of the reasons for being happy to live in this planet.

I really don't get what all the fuss is about with "Sex Is On Fire", nor can I bear to listen to anything by this K.O.LEON
Can't get to grips with Snow Patrol-chasing cars, insipid or what. Also getting on my nerves, COLDPLAY.   At least Radiohead seem to be fading away...

Shit song, shit performance, shit instrumentalists, shit singer. Propably shit lyrics too but I haven't bothered reading them.
People who don't care much for music ususally likes this track, and they usually love this one too:

Song 2 is a clumsy and lazy composition which features the worst type of pro-tools abuse (copy-paste "cool" vocal hook). It appeals to drunks at football games because it sounds like a drunk at a football game.

I absolutely agree. I'd never heard this before until just now. It sounds awful to me.

@ lars: the lyrics to "Should I stay..." are just as shitty as the rest. Regarding "Song 2", Blur have described it as the perfect song to do stage-diving to. Who am I to disagree? :D

There is one Eighties song I used to like, but I've heard it so many times since then that I've ended up hating it. It's this one. I don't know how many people here remember it.
