I remember quite a few interviews in which Mike complains about the use of programmed synths in music. He called it soulless. As far as I can judge, he's not of that opinion anymore.
The question is now: should we move out in the garden in a tent in protest?

You haveabsolutly right.. I am really woried about how sterile and mid 90 the  new TB are going to sound.

If anything, the new TB recording should sound really good: have you heard the Berlin 2000 DVD. Some of his best work is on the non-MB stuff, including the light show track which I rate as one of the best pieces of music ever. I refuse to believe he has somehow 'lost it' just because his style has changed.
