Has anybody heard this? I'm specifically talking about their debut album from '71, that's incidentally called "Sparks". Most people say it's extremely hard to find, and heck, it's brilliant. "Slowboat" is now, officially, one of my favourite songs of all time.

Has anybody heard this? Or any other Sparks album? One thing that strikes me on this album is their use of organs - kinda similar to the way Mike used them for Tubular Bells, making them sound like synthesizers.

Yes, Sparks is also one of my favourite bands. I have not heard their debut album but I have listened to some of their albums from different stages of their carreer. Not all tracks are great in my opinion but certainly many of them are.

I like very much the way they twist their tunes and go off in strange directions. One of their best tracks is "This town a'int big enough for both of us" from the album "Kimono my house" (1974). But they have made a lot of good tracks also in the recent years.
