Hey guys...

I guarantee no-one will have heard of them.. and I even more guarantee none of you (if you have heard of them) will have any of their stuff.

God almighty they are the greatest prog rock band I've ever heard in my opinion.

I have a big library of bands of this genre... form Flower Kings to Dream Theater.. and Spock's beard beats them hands down for me.

I urge you to have a listen to them... they blow my mind.

Such emotion in thier music I havent heard converyed so well in a band before.. its more common in one person like MO... but for a band...

Well, I've heard of them - indeed I have heard their "Snow" album. I'm afraid I have to say I didn't like it very much though - something about it gave me the impression that it was trying really hard to be "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" by Genesis. Maybe I was being unfair though. I guess I should give it another try...

I have heard of them, but I haven't heard anything from them...
I should give them a listen - I like a bit of prog. :)

(though it might take me a while, I'm only just getting into Rush...)

I like Spock's Beard but they definitely lost something when Neal Morse found God and went solo. In fact, Neal's solo stuff has more in common with early (and arguably the best) Beard than Beard themselves these days.
