I've posted links to my Steamprog music before, but this is the first thread exclusively about our NEW project.  We are currently writing and recording our third album, "The Schüfftan Process", which draws upon German silent cinema from the 1920's, as its main theme.

We've just completed and uploaded the first track, a tribute to the star of Nosferatu, entitled "Max Schreck".  Please have a listen to our music, as new tracks are added in the coming weeks.

Thanks Ginger!  Well, you have to understand the steampunk genre, really.  "Nosferatu" fits with the AESTHETICS of the retro-futurism of the steampunk movement.

I really like the waltz, good mix of electric guitar, bass, and piano  (although in places it reminded me of the Millionaire's Waltz by Queen - now there's a blast from the past!;).

Cheers,
Terry.

Thanks Ginger!  God - I haven't heard "The Millionaire's Waltz" in YEARS!  I had "A Day at the Races" on vinyl in the 80's.

A jolly Steamprog tune for the festive season, based on the 1924 silent film, "The Last Laugh".

Chuckle along...

Here!
