I could not find a topic about her.
I just bought one dvd from Fleetwood mac, and everytime i see Stevie Nicks she makes me warm inside.
her voice is so mystic deep and beautiful strong.
have you heard the song "Storms"??
or "beauty and the beast"?

What i have on this dvd, is lovely "Rhiannon"
That name remains me of a girl i once meet. She was a little "psycedellic", but here voice and smile did made me feel glad. She had very bad times with her thoughts and mind, but her eyes told me everything. I saw a girl, and a good face. She called me Barrett, and i called her Rhiannon. Her personality inspired me  and i will never forget her. So everytime i play "Rhiannon" a tear comes up in the corner of my eyes.
There is something Stevie Nicks do with her songs.
Silver voice...........................

Yes, she has the sexiest, most alluring voice in the history of rock, I think. The strange thing is that she was never quite able to carry it through into her solo albums (she has a good try with 'Stop dragging my heart around', but then she was singing that with Tom Petty). The best ones - Rhiannon, and so on, were all made with Fleetwood Mac - wonderful stuff.

She's got a marvellous voice... :) She sang Songbird, if I'm right!! Great!
But Christine McVie is even better, I think... Didn't she sing/write You make Loving Fun?? Genius!!

Their new album is great too! Tubularman sent some songs a while ago, and it can really be recommended

Actually that's McVie, I believe. And very nice too, but her voice doesn't make my toes curl up like Stevie's voice does.

its Christime Mcvie who sings this on "Rumorus", she's fantastic too  :D
Thsi "Songbird" use to be the last number in concert with Fleetwood mac. But since she left Fleetwood mac for the last tour an album we havent seen it been playing..

But i think she have many good songs in her solo carriere too. Some of the songs can be to 80's happy, but "Trouble in Shangri la", "beauty and the beast", "talk to me", "candlebright", "Leather and Lace" (with don henley) stands for me the best songs ever.

My favorite from "Fleetwood mac" is (the new songs) = "Smile at you", wonderful "Running thorugh the garden", "Goodbye Baby", "Thrown Down"..
Also from the tour and concert dvd she sing duet with Lindsey, the song "Say goodbye". This song is worth the hole dvd alone!!

My other favorite is "Dreams", "Sara" (my daughter have here name from this song), "Beautiful Child", "Gypsy" (also a fantastic music video for this), "silver springs" and many other songs..

Stevie Nicks

if you look you can find good songs to download here but you must look a little. Everyday they change the link and songs, so you can be very lucky to get a hole concert with good quality. demos and stuff here too :)

Stevie Nicks is performing in Adelaide next month with Johnny Farnham. Would be an interesting show.

Hmmm... yes... I noticed I mixed the two singers up and you're right!!
But they're both good, so it's not a bad mistake!  :)
