There's a diagram in the LP of Stockhausen's space composition Sirius that looks uncannily like the spaceship in Maestro. Each divide into roughly four sections, with a rectilinear section at one end and a curve-going-to-a-point at the other. The clincher is the isomorphism between the Hall of Tunnels (12 tunnels) and the circle with the 12 zodiac signs in the XSirius diagram. And of course both a crab (Cancer) and a scorpion (Scorpio) are in the Hall of Tunnels...
