I have to admit I never exactly understood the point of this joke. What is Oxo?

In England it used to be (maybe still is) a second hand clothes etc.. shop. You could also get second hand records and so forth. I used to go there quite a bit as a student in London (1984-7). It's funny because a bull fighter would hardly work in such a place!!!

Ooops, I was thinking of Oxfam! Oxo makes condensed beef cubes for flavouring of stews and so forth!  I haven't been living in England for about 14 years so my memory is a bit rusty :-)
