OMA Group: Members Posts: 11 Joined: June 2003 Posted: Sep. 25 2005, 13:21 Somebody in the Spanish Taurus IV mailing list suggested that "Surfing" had a rhythm line very similar to the one in "Foreign Affair", so that gave me the idea to make this silly mix of both songs To make both songs fit I slowed "Foreign Affair" down to 80 bpm (Surfing's tempo) and raised its pitch half a tone. The synchronization is not perfect, but this is just a fun track . There are two "flavors" of this song. My original MP3, and a second one with Viper's guitar (he liked the song and added some guitar over it). Well, this was just a fun experiment. I don't think Mike would release something like this tacky mix in an actual album But then again, he released such a terrible track as Romance, so after that, everything's possible OMA PD: Sorry, I think I should have posted this in the "fan remixes" forum instead of here. And OMA there's something about all the mixes you do.
