Hi everybody !

I've read that Mike used a new Wal bass on TB2003.

But anyone has an idea of what kind of bass effect Mike is using in the intro ?

Mike use a VSTi based on MIDI bass.
But i thing that mike use to record the midi a real bass with a midi conection.

The bass sound in the intro is (as far as I can deduce) a synthesised sound, though I suspect that a bass sample might have been used somewhere along the line (I also believe he probably played it from a guitar).
You can get a similar sound by using fairly heavy compression on the bass, rolling off any really high frequencies and slapping it (I find that it works best played using the sound of both pickups combined on a two pickup bass, but experiment!).
