Hi, from Spain!!
This evening, from 19:00 to 21:00, some spanish fans will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tubular Bells and the 10th anniversary of Taurus IV spanish mailing list. We have a public meeting at the Cultural Forum of FNAC Valencia; we'll have a brief talk/conference about Mike's career, and we have selected a bunch of Mike's videos, for our delight. They should be:
- TB part 1 from 2nd House show from Elements DVD
- Guilty Encore from Exposed DVD
- TB part 2 from Live at Montreux DVD
- Tattoo from TB2 DVD
- Secrets / Far Above the Clouds (reprise) from TB3 DVD
- Music of the Spheres Live at Bilbao, from the Universal EPK
- Tubular Bells, from Night Of the Proms DVD
We have prepared also a portfolio, with biography, discography, some 1973 articles, the David Bedford analysis of TB, etc,.... and the history about Taurus IV, the Spanish internet mailing list, in its 10th anniversary.
We'll also have a competition for the people there, so they can take home some nice "souvenirs"!
We had some more activities, but we ran out of time and budget!! :-)
We are so proud of Mike's career that we are very happy to organize and event like this. It's a pity we can't share this with all our international friends, so maybe for the 40th anniversary we could arrange something really big!!!!
