Can anybody tell me where I can get a download of the 4.9.98 Horse Guards Palace world premiere concert?  I already have the 3.9.98 rehearsal.

Well, why not buying the DVD of it,featuring also the world premiere of Tubular Bells II?

Also, you can download on the net the real premiere do TBIII with a 10-min version of Tubular Bells Part 1,Moonlight Shadow and Family Man,which are not on the DVD(Virgin didn't allowed to release these songs!;).

About the rehearsal, did you get only the audio?

I got just the audio of the rehearsal, and I just want to get an audio of the concert to make a 2CD audio set.  I know about the DVD with both the II and III premieres on it, but it's just the audio I want to track down.  Let me know of any suggestions for sources.  Thanks!

I was lucky enough to go to the premiere of TB3 and i have to say i was annoyed that the extra footage was not on the dvd release after all i thought the idea of dvd's was so you could have the feature plus the "extras" surely this could only help sales, beacause moonlight shadow was fantastic everybody was singing and standing this would show just how cool the concert was! :D

OFF TOPIC: I was dissapointed with all the live versions of Moonlight Shadow. In fact, the only good one was the original on the album Crises IMO.

Ok you can all continue on topic now...

Dont get me wrong, the album version is the best there is, i don't think pepsi has the range to carry it off, but what i was getting at was the atmosphere the track creates at the live venues, everyone knows the words, including most non fans, sorry should have been clearer in my explanation :p

No, there are a few things missing from the DVD - the excerpt from Tubular Bells (played at the beginning of the set - you can see that when Mike walks on in the video, the musicians visible are already playing. That's because he walked on while they were playing the Tubular Bells intro), Family Man and Moonlight Shadow (both played after Far Above The Clouds, before the encore). They were all omitted from the DVD because including them would have meant licensing them from Virgin.
