The Big BellEnd Group: Members Posts: 971 Joined: Jan. 2004 Posted: Mar. 02 2004, 17:58 Mr, Oldfield did perform TB1 on t.v I saw it myself.I think it was an old grey whistle test special or something because I'm sure it was on BBC 2.All it was consisted of was MO seated no one else except his instruments, I think and on the wall some really bad blue screan effects, did anyone else see it and are there any copy's of it around. -------------- I, ON THE OTHER HAND. Spinne Group: Members Posts: 397 Joined: May 2003 Posted: July 02 2004, 12:02 As freekm has said, your description seems to be from the performance of TB (part 1) on BBC's 2nd House (the name of the program is what appears at the back wall written in blue letters). The only thing that doesn't fit with it is that you have said that Mike is playing alone, while at the 2nd House program Mike is playing with other musicians. The performance at BBC's 2nd House was recorded somewhen on 1974 and an excerpt was included at the Elements video. Back to top

Guest Unregistered Posted: Aug. 16 2004, 12:05 I remember seeing mike do (the closing part side one) of TB1 on a show in England (BBC) called JimlFixit. It was this girls dream to meet mike and they played the end part of part one and she played the bells. Anyone else remember this? Back to top
