I've just put up a "final" version of my latest track on Soundcloud, it's called Tears in Rain. It's was inspired by the death scene of replicant Roy Batty in the film Bladerunner. There are two versions, one with a mid section interlude of Vangelis style synths and one without. I can't make up my mind which one works better, I liked the synths and now I don't but then again tomorrow I'll probably like them again because it gives the track more interest.... not sure.

I'd appreciate hearing what you think.

Thanks

Chris

I also prefer your named Distant Earth to Chome Dome.  :D

It reflects the depth of feeling in your pieces, particularly -"Tears in Rain". Also particularly enjoy the tinkly piano in "Karellen" amd the 'helicopter' sounding bass in Throttle.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. It's great that you've listened and liked some of my music, especially Karellen and Throttle as they don't get as much attention as my guitar based stuff.

The name seems so obvious now, I had my reasons for Chrome Dome but it was pretty lame.

Thanks again it's much appreciated.

Hi,

You've already had my comments elsewhere... but may as well post here too...

This track is great - the most recent version pushes all the right buttons. Yes, the guitar could be a bit meatier in places but that's a minor thing and the most important thing, the music, is just right.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Terry.
