Not Bad !!    Considering it had little Promo and I guess was just picked up cold off the Racks in the Main...

Little Boots got to No3 midweek with a 10,000 unit sale  I gathered.. It ended up No 5..   Thats the sort of numbers u need around this time of the Year...

So many compilations! Wouldn't it be more fair and encouraging creativity not to include them in the charts?

I had a quick on the radio2 website and we have played:
Monday - Family man
Tuesday moonlight shadow
Wednesday - foregin affair
Thursday - TB
All very safe really but I actualy expected it to be even more safe with Jubilo and portsmouth.
My bet for Friday is the Ommadawn extract (well to be honest probabbly guilty)

Wouldn't it be great if it got to number one again after all these years?  :D

It appears to be selling very well. A big jump up the charts this week. Let's hope it makes the top 10 next week!

Yeah bet a few were bought for "Fathers Day"...    It is great value for £9-50 though a Double Disc with the RE Mix..

If Only a reasonable proportion of people buy it  off the Back of "Spheres" & TB1 1st  release, it should top  3  in theory..

i know this will have been discussed before so i apologise if i am duplicating another thread but why does the collection cd only go upto 1983? Is there another collection cd coming out from 1984-present? Great news about TB shooting up in the charts this week.

I did think this myself when i bought it.Perhaps you're right about it as a first 10 years thing. To be brutally honest though after the Crises track his mainstream career tailed off a bit and he didn't really make much impact on the UK singles chart untill Sentinel which was on Warners.
Bloody shame IMO cos there were some good singles like To France,Pictures In The Dark,Shine and Flying Start.

on the video interview at his house in the Bahamas he said he is looking forward to re mixing Hergest Ridge and Ommadawn later this year, so maybe there will be some things from '83 onwards?

It's on the stregnth of TB being one half of the set IMO but it's good to see that it can still get in the charts after all these years.Good music will always come through after all. :)

I think you`re probably right Caveman. But partly becuase it was "father`s day week" I guess,I`m kind of perversely intrigued by the fact that it shot up in the charts after radio 2 played all those AOR type 80`s songs. You know for those not familiar with the sheer wide extent of Mike`s back catalogue,I would imagine there was a fair number of these little fella`s up and down the country...   :O  :O  :O  :O Followed by.."Where`s my copy of The Best Air Guitar Album In The World Ever, that you bought for me last year"??
