Sadly Justin Hawkins has left the band. The band wish to continue, but they think they might have been dropped by their record company, as they haven't heard from them for a while.

Darkness falls over the Darkness .... I guess thats the Problem having a Mega Lead Singer... 2 Options either
recruit another bigger Mega Singer into the Ranks hoping
the Fans Take to him.. Or Split the thing up and Move on !!
Im not really a Fan of theres as I dont like his Vocals that
much.. But can see why some do as well .. I bought "This Town" Last year but it sounds crap compared to the real deal.
Mind you Justin is a Master of the Publicity Stunt so there could be a twist to this saga somewhere !!

Ooops... I'm quite sorry to hear this, because I quite liked them, especially the first album. No more Justin H. most probably means no more Darkness. Who else are they going to find with that voice? :D

@ Iksion: The Darkness play a mixture of light (not heavy) metal,  glam rock and Queen-ish harmonies. They have (or had?) a lead singer who sings falsetto vocals, and gets to very high notes... :D

"I Believe in a Thing Called Love" was a huge hit everwhere !!!

I saw them live one, at a festival, which was quite cool. They're doing hits a bit like Final COuntdown... hehe... in that style... they were alright. i'd never buy a record of them of course, but it was a bit fun!! And man, could that singer hit high notes... hehehe...
The bassplayer left earlier, so now the 2 most boring persons in the band remain, so that means the end of the Darkness...
