Hi Jesse.
Very very nice where can I get a Mp3?

Listening to the first Part I got the impression this was your Hergest Ridge very pastorial in parts.
Then in the finale 1:10 in you hit us with your Thunderstorm albeit in Jesse Gorter style, this sure showcases your talents my good man.

thank you :)

These are very personal pieces. You know sometimes you write a tune you might actually find very beautifull, but it's not based on actual emotions by the composer persé. These tunes are and it was really challenging to follow it up with a deeper intenser part.

There's also the prelude which is more based on the original;

Yes, I particularly like what's going on in the background (ie, the non-piano part).

Oh that's nice to hear as I always felt the prelude was a bit...the lesser of the tree because it is really an extention of the ideas in the original fusion (note the original is from 2oo3...!;)

:)

There's a hint to beethoven where the cello drops a semitone...it was really similair to a part in the emperor pianoconcert.

Oh I meant that these pieces are very personal, contrasting more regular work.

do you like the percussion part in the finale? I had to really bridge that to get it in

I really enjoyed both Prelude and Finale - intelligent and well constructed pieces. Nice work.
