How do you get to the moon in the full game? And the butterfly screens?

I haven't found a butterfly sequence yet (don't know if there is one). But I have been on the moon. There you get really cool music and you have to shoot several of those stars (you know, with those rings around them) to get another melody.

But I forgot how to get there! Darn... I'm not home now, have to play it at home to figure it out for you.

Thanks.

On the map there appears to be two bits for the butterflies (Butterflies 1 & 2), so they should be in there somewhere!

To get to the moon: Look for a black moon somewhere near the edges of the main-world, I think it is pretty near to the zeppelin-avatar (I might be wrong, I'm at school now so I can't check it out at the moment). Don't remember exactly how to do, but approach it (maybe shoot it) and you'll get to the moon. I'm not sure this is the only way to get there.

To get to the butterfly world... first get the ring after the spikeball-game, then take the ring in the tree. You should see a pair of butterflies flying pretty close to the tree... I think I did something with them to get to the butterfly world, but I don't remember exactly. Hope this helps.

According to the map at mikeoldfield.com there should also be a second butterfly world... anyone found it??

Best wishes

/ Johan

Oops... I was wrong about the black moon... it's on the opposite side of the world :-)

I've made a map of the area where you can see how to find it... http://hem.passagen.se/jowill/index.htm

I think I've missed some avatars, because I haven't found all of them... so if you know there is an avatar that is not on the map, please let me know :-)

Best wishes

I found a portal on the moon in one of the craters. But I can't use it... any ideas how to get through it?

Best wishes

Hey Oldfield_fan - nice map! Great job! Are you doing to map out the other areas to (forest, canyon etc..)?

I'm a bit confused about the choice#1 and choice#2 - thought they were the same thing - can you explain?

Thanks Tim! Well, maybe I'll do more maps... I'll see what I can do.

The choices are not the same. Choose #1 on the map includes the owl, the ants and the swords game, while choose #2 are the bats, morphing baby and arrow to space.

Best wishes

Great job again oldfield_fan! It was only when I saw your first map that I now realize there are TWO 'ayers rocks' with TWO choices of the ring gates. At first I thought you only had one set that changed according to the number of rings you have - others seem to think this too!

I've downloaded your pics as reference points - they should be incorperated into the game itself - press 'm' and the map pops up!

"...they [the maps] should be incorperated into the game itself - press 'm' and the map pops up!"

Yeah, Timshen, very true... there also should be a flashin' "You are here" red dot on 'em when they pop up. smile smile smile smile smile

you guys didnt figure that out? i knew from the presentation video and the raft interview video that the owl was on the far left of one set and he said himself..."..this one [far lright] sets off a game with swords....this one sets off a whole load of ants who take u into their tunnel and this one sets off a lovely little owl..." and thne i saw him go in the far right one of [apparently had to be] another set and it shot him into space....

tho i didnt need that to figure it out cuz immediantly when i started the game for the first time i went looking for the 2 sets and found one byt the ants and the other by the piano.....i guess ive just been playin 3d games for so long im used to moving and finding my way around....
