Well its all over, boo hoo, the trillogy is finished and to me it was just brilliant. (though we still have the 5 hour ROTK extended version to watch, next year).

The music from the films was just great and deserved a mention here, it was very uplifting, dramatic and created emotional effect.

My favorite musical part in each film (and there were many)were:-

LOTR..... The Hobbiton theme tune
TTT....... The Riders of Rohan theme tune
ROTK...... Billy Boyds sad ballad as the riders rode to doom

Yep, these films will be classics, I will be looking foward to 'The Hobbit' next.

Yep,the music to these films is wonderful,i know there was a vote a while back as to who should compose the film music,and Mikes name was in there,but,as much as i like Mike,i'm glad he did'nt do it,Howard Shore is the perfect choice.
