I think this album can be really good, but I hope Mike stays away from guest vocalists (or - god forbid - childen!) reciting poems. Another thing I don't want to hear any more of is breathy choirs singing mock-african chants. It used to be carming feature of Mike's music ca 1978, but of lately it's become a tired Oldfieldian Cliché. They way it's used on the Millenium Bell (an album which I'm secretly afraid that this project will owe a lot to) it makes me think of the "Holidays are coming"-chant in that Coca Cola commercial.
I seriously hope that Mike dares to compose a piece that is not so easily accesible. A little bit of dissonance won't hurt. If it's going to be a classical album it won't have to top the charts anyway, so perhaps there is more room to experiment.
