The One Man Journey Release date: 6th july 2009
Johan van der Voet is an artist discovered in the Netherlands. Over the last 12 years he has produced unique and inspirational music that has enthralled listeners the world over. Fans can now download his work with a special release of his album “The One Man Journey”, out now on iTunes (Worldwide), Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic and LimeWire store’s.
This is the first album to be released from Soundgram’s catalogue.
As this album is a treu “One Man” operation with Johan playing all 37 instruments while mixing and recording it too, it could make the album a global phenomenon.
This exciting new instrumental concept album will not only appeal to people that love New Age music, but also to the fans of Mike Oldfield, Allan Parsons and symphonic rock groups.
For those who like things old school, there will be a physical CD version being released as part of the Amazon CD on demand series from august 2009.
To celebrate the release, auditions for a live band will take place to bring this unique music to the stage.

Unter den Fans von Mike Oldfield gibt es eine ganze Reihe von Musikern, die ihrem großen Idol mal mehr, mal auch weniger gut nacheifern. Zu den besten in dieser Riege zählt sicherlich Johan P. van der Voet.
Der Niederländer hat unter dem Pseudonym Soundgram 2002 in seinem Heimstudio das dreiteilige Album "The One Man Journey" im Alleingang aufgenommen. Dabei kommen mehr als 20 Instrumente zum Einsatz, darunter verschiedene Gitarren und Flöten, ein Glockenspiel, Bodhran, Synthesizer und vieles mehr.
Das Resultat ist ein fast einstündiges, überaus mitreißendes Werk, das stark an Mike Oldfields Frühwerke aus den 70ern und "Amarok" angelehnt ist, und dabei mit einem Finale in bester Oldfield-Tradition ausklingt.
