The psychedelic ambient album – Ring of Changes

“Changes have us in motion. It’s a part of our life. Nothing is in static. Life is like an evolution and all the time in a movement, in motion… A good friend of mine brings it on a point, that Changes sometimes make us revisit places in the past sometimes to understand ourselves, sometimes to close doors which were left unlocked as an open way in for ghosts, sometimes as a necessary step back to get boost and face the future feeling clean and certain that life is in front, never behind”

“Ring of Changes” is my new Album I worked out about more than a year. I’m glad to say, I solved this challenge. Each time, during the recording process, I dived into myself to bring out my feelings on the surface and while listening now to the complete album it’s for me like coming back from a journey from my soul, my heart and dreams and emotions…………………………

For the first time it’s now possible to listen to the complete album on my myspace player at http://www.myspace.com/langdana from the first note to the last note .

Hi to the Oldfieldianer

there are some good news about my music project. Since some weeks my latest album "Ring of Changes" is available to download via http://www.myspace.com/langdana. Soon it will be also possible to download it via i-tunes, amazon, napster, musicload etc....but these Links, to these shops, are at the moment not available. So please have a bit patience. They should be soon online.... I'm going to tell you then !

Last week my latest album "Ring of Changes" was the album of the week at the Dooload Netlabel.

Dooload wrote:
"Over one year the composer and producer Jörg Lang worked on his instrumental album and created with this album an oasis of full peace and warmth. Meditative ambient guitar music, transferred with psychedelic sounds, developed from basic E-guitar-melodies result in emotions purely. The pieces of music flow into one another and form a sound carpet, on which it can be dreamed. It is clearly noticeable, how much heart blood was put into the compositions. In addition an extremely grazile conversion of pieces comes, after which it needs no more proof that the artist controls his instrument blindly. The result is a closed and very straight-line album, in itself, which can be used as inspirations and for meditations."

It's lovely music dude, keep it up

will be getting the album later today.

Just being a nitpick, I don't quite agree with the genre classification, psychedelic ambient is commonly associated with a genre of electronic music (think of Carbon Based Lifeforms or Solar Fields for example).

Bruce Walker (Filmmaker, Surfer, Pro Skateboarder, Coach of the USA National Surf Team to Seven World Titles from 1986 thru 1989 and 1992 thru 1998 and Skateboard Pioneer) came to me and ask me to use some music from my latest music project "Ring of Changes" for his surf film "the Payoff". So it happened that beside more music from great other Bands some pieces of my music is on that great film too.

The Mp3’s are designed to use in your MP3 players, but it’s also possible to fix them on Audio CD and play the whole album on Audio equipment. If you’re going to leave out the pauses between the tracks for the Audio CD you will get an album where each track “slips slightly” into the other track.
