Hi all,
As some of you may know, I've been in the process of building my synthesizer studio. The main concept is that I need to be able to play all my instruments at the same time, without using a PC or anything more than a simple 16 step sequencer. This means that every synth has its own keyboard, and is joined in a large mixing desk.
In this studio concept, I mainly do single take recordings. "The Valkyrie" is one such example in which a very short sequence carries massive drones and strings in an anthem for the magnificent XB-70 Valkyrie aircraft. I've tried to give this tune a huge uplifting mood and "grandeur" like MO's music tends to make me feel.
Enjoy the Youtube video! Of course, the sound quality isn't excellent there. Certainly when paired with laptop speakers, you may miss the bassline. More info in the video description.
