Why doesn't everyone vote for one of Mike's appearances on the show? I wouldn't mind seeing his mimed performance of 'Moonlight Shadow' again - a few years before the clip, he said that he'd never appear on the show!!

I couldn't tell you another time he has appeared in person 'live' on the show. I do remember an early 'video' showing Mike playing all manner of instruments when 'Portsmouth' took the charts by storm in the early 70s though. I particularly enjoyed his playing of the Celtic drum thingymagig with the funny little stick, expertly negotiated for robust and rhythmic percussive genius    ;)

It would be nice if part of tubular bells could be performed on Top of The Pops, after all dance music has very few words. So why not have a completely acoustic piece.

But then I wish they would replace TOTP with Later with Jools Holland as the artists are far more credible :)
