Why doesn't everyone vote for one of Mike's appearances on the show? I wouldn't mind seeing his mimed performance of 'Moonlight Shadow' again - a few years before the clip, he said that he'd never appear on the show!!

I couldn't tell you another time he has appeared in person 'live' on the show. I do remember an early 'video' showing Mike playing all manner of instruments when 'Portsmouth' took the charts by storm in the early 70s though. I particularly enjoyed his playing of the Celtic drum thingymagig with the funny little stick, expertly negotiated for robust and rhythmic percussive genius

It would be nice if part of tubular bells could be performed on Top of The Pops, after all dance music has very few words. So why not have a completely acoustic piece.

But then I wish they would replace TOTP with Later with Jools Holland as the artists are far more credible
