Does anyone have a rough idea of what the total running time would be all of all tracks WRITTEN and recorded by MO would be?

I'm thinking albums, singles, B-sides etc but without getting into the vagaries of multiple versions etc.

Am thinking of doing a charity fundraiser at some point listening to all of the music written by MO back to back without sleep, and despite having a very well stocked music collection am well aware that Mike's prolific output may put the feat in some peril!
Anyone have any ideas on a rough running time?

It's about 18h - due to my digital library.Including traditional arrangements like Portsmouth an covers like Arrival, MO tracks on Collaborations, excluding Orchestral Tubular Bell, Boxed, Exposed, 12" versions and TB 2003 and remixed re-releases.

I have 23 hours of Mike Oldfield with NO duplications. This does not include remasters, Old Tin Boxes or any live albums. I'm missing a few odd tracks released on singles and probably a few other bits and bobs too, however.

Also, this is an excellent idea. It promotes charity and also spreads the joy of MO. Good luck with it and let us know how it goes!

It's 5h more. He released 23 albums (exluding Orch TB, Boxed, Exposed, Compilations, TB2003) but most of them have a running time around 40-45 minutes. Only a few like TBII, Incantations, Amarok, TSODE and L&S play around 1h and more. I re-calculated it and the result is again about 18h.

I just tried it in winamp, I simply dragged all my Mike folder, just removing orchestral TB and HG, and TB 2003.

I end up with 22h53.

I have pretty much every non album songs, including Tres Lunas 2.
And no remixes, no shows, no compilations.
