Hey everyone,

Just thought i would post a song that i made on my macbook using garageband. Its called "Tranquility ... Just Not as You Know It". Its sort of broken up into two different sections. The first part is not really inspired by Oldfield, but the second half of the song is. Its sort of like the Incantations Part Four.

Hope you all have a listen and enjoy, I also have a few other songs ive made as well, not necessarily inspired by Oldfield, but non the less, feel free to have a listen !

Please comment and let me know what you all think,

Cheer,

Nate

Very well put together - I really liked the percussion in the first half and the vibraphone (?) in the second half.

Overall I enjoyed it!

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Terry.

Hey, that's cool,

I started recording my own tracks with GarageBand, too, back in 2005 on a small Mac Mini. It's pre-installed, it's easy to learn and you can do a lot of things with it.

The Track is really nice, I like it, especially the dreamy atmosphere of the second part.

Nice ending, really nice melody, and yes, very incantations-like :)
