People'd say that he polished the whole thing a little bit too much - it was rougher before he came in and it should've stayed like that. Or maybe that it sounds too synthetic, too plastified - like "Video killed the radio star". [BTW, I love that song. ]  I personally think that he improved TBII with his intervention - I don't like the so-called 'De-Trevorized TBII' at all. -------------- Ugo C. - a devoted Amarokian Back to top

qjamesfloyd Group: Members Posts: 1357 Joined: April 2001 Posted: Mar. 12 2004, 07:38 I've never really bought into this whole Trever Horn ruined TB11 thing,i love the album,and if he did have any big invluence,then i think it paid off,it amuses me that people now say,"Mike needs to work with a producer"yet when he did,they say it did'nt work,at least Trever Horn comes from a similar place to Mike,having been in a group like Yes.Some people are just never happy i guess.
