Blue Dolphin has shared his travelling experiences in England on the topic that discuss Mike's moving to the Bahamas, and I thought that would be nice for us to share your experiences travelling around the world!

I love travelling...strangely enough,I know more places outside my country than here...haha.

Been to England twice and loved both times.First time I lived in a host family home in Bournemouth for one month while I was doing an English course and I travelled around and visited many cities...like Blue Dolphin,I visited Stonehenge, but I though it was soo small if you compare to what you see on pictures!

Last time,I went northeast - Manchester rocks \o/

I don't think I have travelled much but I suppose when I think about all the places I've been to - even for a short visit - it doesn't sound that bad. Ireland, Malta, Corsica, Italy, France, Netherlands, Iceland, USA (NYS and Florida with a quick dip into Canada) and most recently Brazil.

I'll ponder if I have any interesting "experiences" of any of the above. Iceland I think was the most memorable, partly 'cos it was for my honeymoon and partly because it is such an astonishing place. The landscape and light are quite other-worldly. I did manage to get the hire-car stuck in deep ash when trying to do a 3-point turn on a back road and had to walk to the nearest police station to get them to tow me out. If you ever visit, hire a 4x4!
