Has anyone heard "Tubular Belgians In My Goldfield" by Departure Lounge? It is one track (not an album). It's not bad, and it is fairly "Oldfieldian". It does not, however, sound like "Tubular Bells".
From an Amazon review of the album it came from: "Yet it carries that same dash of 70's peace and loveism prevalent in 90's shoegazer. I'm reminded of Blur, Spacehog, Oasis, Ride.... Right now I'm spinning "Tubular Belgians in my Goldfield". That's my favorite song in the cd."
