Will it include The Millennium Bell? I would say 'no'.

Predictions:

- first minutes of TB1
- ..
- Red Dawn, The Bell
- ...
- Far Above The Clouds

Tim's predicted TB Tracklist:

Well, I reckon they won't redo TB with different parts of each album to create one whole. But if they did:

Opening Theme (TB)
Dark Star (TB2)
Orchestral bit-Clear Light (OTB)
Blue Saloon (TB2)
Outcast (TB3)
Red Dawn (TB2)
The Bell (TB)
Top of the Morning (TB3)
Orchestral Vast Field/Great Plain (OTB)
Moonwatch/Watchful Eye (TB3)
Martial (TB)
Altered State (TB2)
Orchestral Southern Silver (OTB)
Boxed Sailor's Hornpipe (TB-Boxed)
Secrets-Far Above the Clouds (TB3)

Although they might (yeah right) throw in some Exposed TB.

My expressions:
1. Tim, my imagination about this album is the same (almost) as yours. But do you really mean "The Bell" from TB? I think that version from TB2 is much better.
2. Maybe the better name for the album would be "Tubular Bells -Trilogy"?
3. It would be better, if they put only (or most of them) concert versions.
4. From the ohter hand it is wroten "to promote this as a mass market". What does it mean? It will be ol remixed in disco-version? ugh!

Mike doesn't need to pop songs to sell millions of albums.

Would have Tubular Bells sold better if it had contained songs, or disco remixes, etc? Probably not, but it's a not an important question anyway. Actually, isn't it what he tried to do with Tubular Bells III? Take the qualities of Tubular Bells, and add stuff to try to reach even more people. But it didn't sell as well as the first one...

I have the feeling this compilation might be interesting, it will show how Mike's career has evolved, and how innovation and being very popular at the same time is important for him.
