Is there any one who have a special love for this piece of music?
Im listening to Nightingale now.. such a lovely vocal song. The guitar is wonderful..
Maybe this is a sad story, but its my life............
I had it all the time and i will allways have it in my heart.

Used to have this album on tape....
And I haven't played tapes in years.
Great music though.

I followed the TV series as well.
Loved it.

Best TV show ever... And the music is fantastic. Unfortunately I lent both Music From Twin Peaks and the Soundtrack to Fire Walk With Me (which is also brilliant) to someone a long long time ago and never got them back!
I'll have to hunt them down... (the cds that is! )

I love the music, "The Nightingale", "Into the night" & everything else... on FWWM as well. I hated the series with a passion. :) I thought it was so good when it started, then it went way too surreal and too complicated for my tastes... I like the FWWM movie a lot, though - I also have the DVD of it.

However, after all these years, what I remember most clearly is the twangìng guitar on the main theme, which was also a song ("Falling"). It's, I think, Badalamenti's most distinctive trait, together with the jazzy rhythm section, and it's what I like most about his music. ;)

@ BTH: If you want mp3s of the music, just PM me. :)

"Into the night"

yes indeed..
very dark and powerful..
I love how it turns out in 3.28 min..
Its just like you going into a trap. Very dark, dark, dark song..
Its really so dark that the moon is not there.

Nightingale is beautiful and light in contrast to "into the night".
If this have been mike i wonder what it would be..
If he did a light and shadow album, this album would be shadow!!

Not really. First thing that comes to mind right now are the strings from the main theme, great harmonies there.
